Cagliari's boss, Walter Mazzarri, who saw his side lose to AC Milan yesterday 1-0, was not happy regarding Marco Di Bello's performance as the main referee of the game:
"How beautiful football is. Listen to those from Sky how they commented on the game, maybe they are biased but others are probably biased too. Today little has been seen that AC Milan players are phenomena, but football is made up of episodes like these. There was a penalty not seen and not given, evident enough no matter what people say. Lovato got punched in the head. For me it is a penalty, period. But let them tell me that it is not a penalty."
On the racist insults that Mike Maignan received at the end of the game:
"I was so furious about the penalty that when I got inside I threw a couple of punches to let off steam and I didn't see anything."
