AC Milan captain, Alessio Romagnoli, does not seem a pillar in Stefano Pioli's plans anymore. It appears as though that the Rossonero number 13 has lost his starting spot to Pierre Kalulu. The 21-year-old Frenchman is enjoying a positive run of form with his teammate Fikayo Tomori.
The former AS Roma player is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract with the red and black faithful and it seems unlikely at this rate that he should give his consent to an extension for a few more years at the San Siro.
As per the daily Italy-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, the farewell between Milan and Romagnoli seems more and more concrete now. Lazio continues to monitor the situation quickly and are getting closer to securing his arrival on a free this summer.
