Alessandro Florenzi struggled at first upon his arrival at AC Milan as Stefano Pioli often sought to use him as a right-winger to replace Alexis Saelemaekers while Junior Messias was still unavailable due to physical problems. The 31-year-old versatile and experienced full-back, however, expressed himself best when he was finally moved to the right-back position.
The Euro winner with the Italy national team has arrived to the club in the previous summer on a loan move from AS Roma. The former PSG player has good chances now of making the switch to the San Siro a permanent one thanks to contributing well to the team's efforts in their hunt for the Scudetto.

Milan Reports understands that the Italian right-back, Alessandro Florenzi would like to stay at Milanello and is indeed pushing for the move to happen. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, for their part, are satisfied with how the player is doing and are ready to closing the deal with the capital-based club.
The agreement between Roma and Milan is set at 4.5 million euros. However, it is not excluded that Milan directors will try to seek a small discount to finalise the deal.
