The AC Milan Women Team goalkeeper Laura Giuliani spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia about Italy's Men's First Team being excluded out of the World Cup qualifiers. Here are her words:
"Surely there is a lot of disappointment: it hurts not to see the Azzurri in the World Cup. This will be a great opportunity to get up again. we have seen the exciting and growth path that Mancini has made with the national team: it has led all of us to feel part of this team. Mancini has all the support of the players that he has brought to the roof of Europe. He has great human qualities too that cannot be erased with just a defeat."
On AC Milan's Sandro Tonali:
"Tonali is having a great season at Milan, he has found great continuity. He is an excellent player."
Laura Giuliani on Gianluigi Donnarumma:
"He is not playing continuously in PSG and this is not a positive thing for a goalkeeper, there is a lack of references and also of confidence. He has a lot of pressure, Italy relies on him, but this year I think he is experiencing a mental and psychological situation that is not optimal. Even the mistake in the Champions League has certainly not helped him."
