AC Milan Women player, Serena Cortesi, granted an interview to the official club channel. The young Italian forward who turns 20 in September 27, said the following about her experience so far with the red and black faithful:

"It's all new, I'm learning a lot of things . I am very happy, I hope the season ends in the best way. The goal against Lazio? It was fortunate to have the confidence to let me kick a free kick on my first appearance. The joy of scoring, after a very intense year at Orobica, was a blow of life, it helped me a lot."

On the Viareggio Cup:

"It was an honor to participate in the Viareggio Cup, one of the best tournaments in Italy. I thank the club and the companions, it was a very difficult path but there were many beautiful moments and background that I will always remember. I am very happy and proud of the girls, it was a wonderful experience in which we gave everything. In the final, we only missed the goal. But this too will make us grow and help us for the future."

She added:

"I am lucky enough to train in the First Team, to learn many values. The other young girls and I show respect and determination because you have to give everything even in training. Training in the First Team is formative...  It is the first year of the Primavera, many goals have been achieved. Juventus are one of the strongest teams and from here to the end, all matches will be finals."

Serena Cortesi concluded:

"We are a beautiful group with differences in ages. However, you can't feel that age gap. There are difficult games and we will fight until the end. We have lost some important points, but we have never stopped fighting and we will believe in it to the end."
