AC Milan at the San Siro sent a beautiful message to their former coach who is now the boss at Bologna, Sinisa Mihajlovic. The Leukemia disease has returned to him for a second time and he is hospitalised. He was not able to attend the game, but he watched from afar while communicating with the coaching staff. The message from Milan before the start of the game was: "Forza Sinisa, The Rossoneri family is with you."

The game ended in a draw, something that made Olivier Giroud frustrated. In the other locker room, though, Bologna were celebrating a precious point and dedicated it to their boss who could not attend.
La Gazzetta dello Sport wrote that Mihajlovic made a call after the game to his team:
"I'm proud of you. And you know what? more maybe we would have won. But all good, good ... I'm happy."
