AC Milan continue to work on securing the first summer transfer signing, and it seems that it will be Sven Botman. The Dutchman of Lille is 22 years old and plays as a centre-back. He has been on the radar of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara for some time and his arrival would be a great boost to the defensive area.

As explained before, AC Milan were in a competition with Newcastle mainly to sign the defender. The former Ajax man, however, was convinced of the Rossoneri project after contacts with the club director Paolo Maldini. The legendary defender and club captain managed to block Newcastle and get the approval of the player. His addition will be immortant given that Alessio Romagnoli may be on his way out soon.
Milan Reports can confirm the news that the red and black faithful are a few steps away from securing the transfer of Sven Botman who would arrive in the summer. Right now, it is only a matter of smaller details and bonuses to sort out with the player's agency and Lille. But, there is a significant progress in the talks and at this rate, Botman can be called a Rossonero soon.
