AC Milan directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to sign a midfielder to reinforce the squad of Stefano Pioli and add more quality in view of next season. There are many players who are being monitored as the directors are still weighing their options.

Today's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that AC Milan are also keeping track of the situation of Lazio's star midfielder: Luis Alberto. The former Liverpool player is not enjoying a great season overall with coach Maurizio Sarri and an exit route for him out of the capital is definitely not excluded.

The Rossoneri club directors, however, are not the only ones who are showing interest in the Spaniard. In fact, Sevilla, and several other foreign clubs have expressed interest in signing him. Luis Alberto is 29 years old and has 4 goals as well as 9 assists to his name this season after 38 appearances in all competitions.
