AC Milan's midfielder, Sandro Tonali, participated in the game against Torino as he saw his teammates fail to grab the winner. The former Brescia man spoke to Milan TV about the result and said the following words:
"We knew it would be a difficult match, we had prepared it during the week. But the matches change. Torino are tough. We have wasted the opportunities we had and this makes the difference. We deserved the goal and we are sorry."

He also talked about what Milan should do to get back to winning ways:
"We must free ourselves without playing with the weight of looking at the standings. We must go back to being carefree and it is mandatory to do so already starting from the Genoa game. The fans have helped us and pushed, but it was not enough; there are always many: they also transmit the their passion. From the next match, we have to change."
Tonali also spoke to DAZN:
"There is a lot of bitterness given that we came from another 0-0. Let's put these two games aside, it's not easy, it's a shame we didn't take advantage of these two games. There are fewer and fewer games to go. A victory today could have changed the spirit, we have to try to reset everything. We played the game again today, but we didn't score."

On the close goal:
"I wanted to kick immediately. I changed my mind. The goalkeeper moved and read my shot."
On the team spirit:
"We are still at the top, every match can change everything. One victory is enough to change things."
Tonali on full stadiums:
"The ball is no longer heavy with the public, we have been waiting for it for two years when the stadium is full. It's great to play in front of fans."
Finally, Tonali was asked if the team still believes in the Scudetto:
"Always."
