La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition commented on the derby of last night which saw Milan exit the Coppa Italia competition after a loss of 3-0.
Simone Inzaghi's men were superior and Milan were not able to convert some chances in front of the goalkeeper.
The Italian newspaper mentioned above displayed their ratings for the red and black faithful, starting with the best on the pitch from Pioli's team being Rafael Leao with a vote of 6.5. It is also the same rating that was granted for Brahim Diaz.
Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Franck Kessié, Ismael Bennacer, Sandro Tonali were all shown a 6 for their efforts as they could have done more to improve the team's performance.
Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu and Rade Krunic were shown 5.5 ratings while Alexis Saelemaekers, Olivier Giroud and Junior Messias were given a vote of 5.
It was also a bad night for AC Milan's defender Fikayo Tomori, and perhaps his worst display according to the newspaper who gave him a rating of 4.5.
