The AC Milan club directors are now already planning for the next season because it is clear that the Rossoneri squad does need a serious reinforcement especially in the departments of the attack and midfield.

Regarding this issue, former AC Milan player, Massimo Ambrosini granted an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport and spoke about two mercato suggestions that could take the team to the next level.

Here are his words:
"Revolutions are not needed: the base is excellent and must be reinforced by strengthening the areas of the pitch where Milan have suffered the most."
He added:
"I like Darwin Nuñez of Benfica, but it will all depend on what amounts are invested."

The former AC Milan player Ambrosini also suggested a profile to reinforce the right-wing:
"(Christopher) Nkunku of RB Leipzig is another profile that I like."
