AC Milan have an important fixture to play against Lazio on April 24. Then, there will be Fiorentina to host at the San Siro stadium on May 1.

The two games will not be easy as these two sides have quality and especially given the current form of the Rossoneri who are struggling.

An unfortunate news for La Viola though, is received as an important boost for Stefano Pioli's team in view of that game.

In fact, besides Gaetano Castrovilli (who will miss the match due to damaged anterior cruciate ligament,  medial collateral ligament and the lateral meniscus in his left knee) it seems likely that Lucas Torreira will also be absent.

The club statement of Fiorentina reads the following regarding the Uruguayan midfielder's condition:

"ACF Fiorentina can confirm that Lucas Torreira was forced off the pitch during the match against Juventus with bruising on his left hip. Diagnostic tests on Thursday morning revealed a grade one lesion on his transverse abdominal muscle. The player has already started his rehabilitation and physio programme and will be assessed in the coming days."
