Brazilian centre-back Léo Duarte signed for AC Milan in the summer of 2019 coming from Flamengo for a fee reportedly around 10 million euros. After failing to impress at Milanello, he left the San Siro club on loan in 2021.
The 25-year-old defender currently plays for Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir and it is likely that he should remain there on a permanent transfer.
This is according to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur who claims that the Turkish outfit are intending to keep Leo Duarte thanks to the buy-option.
The player has been important for Basaksehir and made 30 appearances this season in the Turkish league.
