Alexis Saelemaekers, AC Milan's Belgian winger, has granted yet another interview, but this time to the microphones of Italian outlet SportMediaset.
He discussed the Rossoneri season so far and the fight for the Scudetto:
"In a footballer's career, there are low moments, but I continued to give my best every day in training and this work helped me in Sunday's match against Verona."
He added:
"Atalanta? We know what a group we are and that we are strong, but we also know that Atalanta is a strong team. If we listen carefully to what Mr. Pioli says and if we put our heart into it as we have always done since the beginning of the season, I think we can take the 3 points."
Saelemaekers on the Scudetto:
"We believe in it from the beginning. We knew that after what we showed last year we could play for it. We are a strong and united group, and this is more important. The teams that win the Scudetto win it because they are united. It would be nice to win for all the work we have done in two years. We hope to win it."
