AC Milan management are preparing for a summer transfer campaign as we approach ending the current season. It is true that, for now, all concentration is on the next game against Sassuolo this Sunday May 22. But, there are some ideas for the coming mercato session to see how the team should be reinforced. Once this campaign closes, and hopefully with the Rossoneri crowned as the champions of Italy, then Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara should get to working more concretely.

According to a report by Tuttosport, the Rossoneri managing directors have returned to thinking about a specific name to strengthen the squad in view of next season. We are talking about Torino's winger Josip Brekalo.
The player is on loan at the Turin-based club and will not have his stay permanent. His card is owned by German club Wolfsburg.

The 23-year-old Croatian player would be looking, in fact, for a chance to experience Champions League football. Brekalo can play as an attacking midfielder as well as being a left-winger. His contract with the Bundesliga side expires in June 2023. This season with Torino, he scored 7 goals and made 2 assists in 32 appearances. It remains to be seen if AC Milan will make further steps forward for the player or not. Torino will not be exercising a buy-option rumoured to be around 11 million euros.
