AC Milan have been working on the future transfer market shots for a while now. Paolo Maldini says in his recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that he has been moving with Frederic Massara for months. The aim is to focus on bringing talents and great quality to make the leap in quality in Stefano Pioli's team. The Rossoneri club must continue to be competitive in Serie A and improve in the Champions League as well.

According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, the Rossoneri's target Noa Lang of Club Brugge would be now very close to making the switch to the San Siro finally. But, in order to finalise the deal, the sale of the club must be completed with RedBird reportedly closing in on the purchase of the Serie A giants for a fee around 1.3 billion euros.
On Wednesday, there was a crucial meeting between Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara and the player Noa Lang's entourage. The parties seem very close to making the deal go through, but RedBird must wrap up the purchase of the club in order to give the green light for this deal.
In fact, an agreement with the Dutch left-winger who also plays as an attacking midfielder is found on the basis of a 5-year deal. The pricetag does not frighten Maldini and his colleagues so much as the Belgian giants are asking for 22 million euros, a fee that seems reasonable for the directors of AC Milan.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara continue to work tirelessly on the transfer market despite having an expiring contract and also despite the uncertain future that looms around in Casa Milan. Now, we wait and see how everything comes out.
