The AC Milan club management are now looking to the future. After a Scudetto victory, the aim is now to be even stronger and be able to compete in the Champions League with the top European clubs.
Paolo Maldini, in his brilliant interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport absolutely insisted on the importance of signing important profiles who can lead the project forward.

According to what is reported today by French outlet Footmercato.net, the legendary club figure, Paolo Maldini, is eyeing up a transfer for Manchester City's explosive winger Riyad Mahrez. The compatriot and teammate of Ismael Bennacer in the Algerian national team is 31 years old with a contract running out in June 2023. The right-winger this season has 24 goals nad 9 assists this season. For the club managers, he would be the central figure of the Rossoneri project.

There is an alternative to the Algerian star, though. Always according to the same source, AC Milan are following the trail that leads to Manchester United player Jesse Lingard 'with attention'. The English playmaker who is 29 years old is due to leave the Red Devils on a Bosman after only playing 548 minutes spread over 22 matches with only 2 goals and 1 assist to his name.
