AC Monza, with the leadership of Silvio Berlusconi, Adriano Galliani and former Milan player who is now coach Giovanni Stroppa are promoted to next season's Serie A campaign. The two lifelong AC Milan fans and former executives who served the club well together, thus writing pages of history for the red and black faithful, will be able to finally be back in top flight football.
In order to stay at the top and compete in Serie A, Monzawill have to reinforce themselves with some important additions.
According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, Adriano Galliani has some ideas and they involve AC Milan and their rivals Inter.
In fact, the first mercato operation is already done: a 4-million euros buy-obligation of Inter's goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio has been activated as the club secured promotion to the first league division. Then, central defender Lorenzo Pirola who is a loanee of Inter may also remain at the club for the next season.
Adriano Galliani will also soon have to meet AC Milan's directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara to discuss some possible mercato shot. AC Monza do appreciate the profile of Junior Messias (who is on loan from Crotone but has chances to be redeemed). Daniele Maldini and Lorenzo Colombo are also on the radar.
But that is not all, in fact, Mattia Caldara and Matteo Gabbia, two central defenders of the Rossoneri are being followed closely by Monza.
