Paolo Maldini's future with the club as the technical director was brought into question by the media and some fans who speculate on what will the club's structure in terms of management should look like under new ownership. The legendary former captain and defender spoke bluntly to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport a few days ago about his situation regarding the renewal (and Massara's) and not being able to talk with anyone in the higher management.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, RedBird Capital Partners owner and managing partner, Gerry Cardinale, will be in town tomorrow to finally sign the paperwork regarding the purchase of the AC Milan football club from Elliott Management Corporation.
Subsequently, he will be then prioritising a meeting with the legendary former player of the Rossoneri Paolo Maldini to explain to him the project and ambition. As per the newspaper, the odds to reach an agreement and understanding between the two parties is high.
