AC Milan full-back Davide Calabria started a beautiful initiative in an effort to meet middle school students and motivate them.
The project was created by the creative agency 'We Are Social' for Netflix with the help of You First Sports, an agency that represents the Italian defender of AC Milan. It is part of the campaign for the launch of " Di4ri ", the first Italian Netflix original title designed for an audience of middle school children (via Milan Press).
In this initiative, here are the words of Davide Calabria:
"At 12, I didn't want to disappoint my parents. Today, it is myself that I do not want to disappoint. My middle school was a happy time, even if it wasn't always easy: I had football commitments, I had to combine school and games. But today I look back on it with pride."
Calabria on wearing the AC Milan shirt:
"Wearing it in certain moments makes you feel the strongest person in the world, in certain moments the weakest one. You are exposed to everything. You play with one of the biggest teams in the world, so every day, all day, everyone is talking about you and your team. After several years of difficulties, not only for me but also for Milan, winning the Scudetto was an immense joy. It was one of the best days of my life, if not the best."
