It was reported a couple of days ago that AC Milan's future new owner Gerry Cardinale, chief of RedBird Capital Partners, is studying the new stadium project of the Rossoneri. He, in fact, even went on a trip to the alternative city that may host the new stadium, Sesto San Giovanni.

Now the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport have released an interview with the mayor of Sesto area on their website. Here are the words of Roberto Di Stefano, the mayor:
"I'll tell you about Cardinale's visit. He wants to build the new AC Milan stadium here. He wanted to understand the potential of the area and the services. We will talk again. Here, we are a quarter of an hour away from the center of Milano and Linate airport."
The full interview will be shared in the next few hours in full as the mayor will discuss the latest details and more information about the meeting with Gerry Cardinale will be revealed. It will be available here on Milan Reports. UPDATE: Full interview posted here.
