AC Milan president, Paolo Scaroni, who should remain in the club with the purchase of RedBird Capital Partners, has spoken to Sky Sport Italia. Here are his words about Paolo Maldini and the new project of Gerry Cardinale:
"Elliott has had a crazy ride. In these four years we have put the accounts and also the team in order, so much so that we have won the Scudetto this year. RedBird is a fund specialized in sport and therefore I expect that with them there will be a new leap forward for Milan."
Paolo Scaroni added:
"(Yesteday), Paolo Maldini spoke with Gerry Cardinale. They met and talked about the project's plans and it seems to me that he has obtained an agreement in general. I expect Milan to face this summer transfer market with courage."
