Former coach of Chelsea, Inter, AS Roma and Leicester City, Claudio Ranieri, spoke to those at La Gazzetta dello Sport. Here are his words about AC Milan:
"The championship race? It was good until the last day, both in the lead and in the bottom. The verdicts? Football always tells the truth, even if a certain component of luck is needed. The highest marks go to Milan, Inter and Roma, but I'm sorry for Napoli. At one point I thought, they would go further."
On people criticising AC Milan and AS Roma's celebrations:
"A lot is due to the fact that those teams hadn't won for a long time and we had all been coming from Covid for two years. It is understandable that people celebrated in that way. Mancini asking for celebrations with respect? He did well. In football you must always show respect."
Claudio Ranieri on former Milan coach and player Gennaro Gattuso and the controversy with Valencia:
"I was sorry. Rino does not deserve it, he is a great person."
On the arrival of Divock Origi to Milan, Dybala to Inter and Di Maria to Juventus:
"It's a question of cycles. The important thing is that the new ones are given time to integrate. Serie A is not easy, but Pioli and Allegri know their stuff."
