AC Milan directors seem to continue to insist on Italian right-winger of AS Roma Nicolo Zaniolo who is 22 years old. The player is among the first names on the list of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara who want to reinforce the team for Stefano Pioli in order to go deeper in the Champions League competition next season and even stay champions of Italy.
As per La Repubblica, the Rossoneri managers are preparing an official offer to be sent to the offices of the Giallorossi club who continue to ask for 50 million euros.
AS Roma, ideally, would like to negotiate a renewal of the contract of their star. But, it seems that the former Inter Primavera product is disappointed by the figure being offered to him. AC Milan, for their part, want to take advantage of the situation and would like to lower the financial requests of Tiago Pinto who is the sport director of the capital club.
In fact, AS Roma are keen on Tommaso Pobega, a talented midfielder who spent a good season on loan at Torino and is definitely not 'untouchable' for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara.
Now, Roma will have to decide whether to let their jewel go to finance the incoming signings which were requested by coach José Mourinho.
