Sandro Tonali, midfielder of AC Milan has granted an interview to the microphones of Sky Sport a day before England-Italy in view of the Nations League competition:
"Now, we (the national team) need to be more of a group. When things go well it's easy to move forward together. Now that there are difficulties we have to be more compact than before. It's not an easy moment, but we have to show that we are a team."
On not having a busy transfer window:
"Let's say they were two completely different summers. I haven't finished this one yet, for a while I'll have to keep my head in the right place and have concentration for the next two games."
On the way of playing with the national team:
"The way of playing changes from club to national team, but in the end the game is always the same. We always try to give 110% because there is a need for it for Italy."
Tonali on seeing young players in the national team:
"Football is strange. The time has come when it's up to us to go out on the pitch and show that the story of young people who are not ready is not true. We have opportunities and we have to show that we can stay there."
