Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Francesco Totti, legendary player of AS Roma, had his say on his former teammate at the national team and friend Paolo Maldini who is now the technical area director at AC Milan.
Here are his words:
"In football there must be former competent players who know about football."
Totti added:
"Putting Paolo Maldini in the club where he played for 30 years was an advantage for Milan."

Paolo Maldini, along with Frederic Massara, have expiring contracts at the end of this month and they are expected to remain. The technical area director and the sport director are branded the architects of the success of this team on the pitch, of course without forgetting the inclusion and contribution of coach Stefano Pioli. Now for them, the goal is to take the team to the next level in terms of quality.
