AC Milan central defender Matteo Gabbia may be on his way out of the Rossoneri club in order to gain more regular first-team football elsewhere. The player is 22 years old and would like continuity in order to develop himself.

According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri management and coaching staff do not want to slow down the growth and progress of the player. This is why they are willing to let go of their primavera graduate on loan.
As per the newspaper, on the trail leading to Gabbia, there is Serie A club Sampdoria who are coached by Marco Giampaolo, a tactician who is already familiar with the defender.
