Former AC Milan player, coach and director: Leonardo, who was recently sport director at Paris Saint-Germain before being replaced by Luis Campos, spoke to the microphones of L'Equipe and mentioned Milan. Here are his words:
"I was at Milan for 13 years: player, coach and director. There, Adriano Galliani gave me a rare opportunity in football. He put me next to him and it was like going to university for me."
"I lived six years watching the person who decided everything without the weight of responsibility within a club that won everything, allowing me to have my say, to act, as done with Kakà, Thiago Silva, Pato, Rivaldo. Milan was continuity at the highest levels. But, I think Paris has given me the most contrasting emotions."
After the exit from PSG, will you miss being talked about in the newspaper?
"I think somehow you're going to talk, even to say that I screwed it all up or that it was my fault before (laughs). I've always lived quietly. The period I lived through from AC Milan to Inter (in 2010) was much worse."
