After 17 long years at Real Madrid where he has won everything as a player, Marcelo is set to leave Los Blancos, aged 34 years old. However, this is not the end of his career as a footballer as it seems that he is keen to continue playing elsewhere. The Real Madrid legend surely has a lot of interest, including that of the recent Serie A champions AC Milan.
As per Spanish outlet Diario AS, AC Milan (who are not convinced of Fodé Ballo-Touré) have indeed tested the grounds for a deal involving the Brazilian left-back.
According to the source, the Rossoneri would be willing to formulate an offer of 3 million euros per season for Marcelo. But, the player rejects that salary proposal for now. In the meantime, it is not excluded that the club directors may try for him again as the defender is eyeing up his opportunities as a free agent in the market now.
