AC Milan's star Rafael Leao is highly valued by the club management thanks to his great efforts on the pitch. He has shown quality and he made the leap in terms of performances. The Portuguese star is now more consistent. His contractual situation is interesting to some top European clubs as his deal expires in June 2024. There is talk about many teams wanting to sign him but the priority for the player seems to be for Milan as he is happy there.

As reported by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in today's print edition, the renewal of Leao would cost a yearly net salary around 6 million euros.
AC Milan work on Leao's renewal and also on some sales:
The Rossoneri directors will be very busy this summer as they try to lock down the Portugal international on a new and richer deal. But, an eye is also kept on the players who are on the transfer list of the club. In fact, Mattia Caldara's exit is likely as he has no place in Pioli's squad. Then, the same is said about Spanish winger Samu Castillejo. As for Léo Duarte, he can leave to Basaksehir on a permanent transfer around 2 million euros.
Ante Rebic, Alexis Saelemaekers and Fodé-Ballo Touré can also leave if convincing offers arrive to AC Milan directors, concludes the newspaper.
