AC Milan and Newcastle are still in the race for Sven Botman. Reportedly, the Serie A champions and 7-time Champions League winners do not give up on the Dutchman despite the financial resources which the Premier League may be able to shell out for this deal because the player's will can be crucial eventually.

According to a report by Italian media outlet SportMediaset, if nothing were to unlock in the next few days, Milan could decide to leave the Botman track permanently. The idea, then, would be to look at alternatives of the player with a cheaper pricetag.
This hypothesis would lead the Rossoneri to the possibility of "saving" this amount in order to invest in another position in Stefano Pioli's lineup.
