AC Milan continue to be linked with a move to Sven Botman. He has been on the Rossoneri radar for some time now, even since January. The Dutchman who is 22 years old, however, has interest from Premier League outfit Newcastle who would be offering him and Lille more lucrative deals.
The Rossoneri directors, are keen on the former Ajax man. But, complications have emerged thanks to entry of Newcastle in this transfer race. The lack of renewal of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara which is yet to officially arrive is also not helping.
SportMediaset today takes stock of the transfer situation and write that in case of failure to secure the player's services, the AC Milan managers would be looking to another alternative who is Malick Thiaw of Schalke 04, 20-year-old German defender, he has a contract valid until June 2024. Thiaw was linked briefly to the red and black faithful in the previous winter's transfer window.
