AC Milan forward, Martina Piemonte, has expressed her emotions regarding being involved in the European Championship with the Italy national which kicks off on July 6th. Here are her statements:
"Being here is first and foremost a satisfaction, being in the national team is a reason to be proud. For a footballer, the Azzurri jersey is everything Surely for me, it means never giving up because after an important year and a half at Fiorentina where I have seen little the field and there have been many problems, being here is a good thing."
Martina Piemonte added:
"I have to say thanks to Milan, the club and the coach because only thanks to them I'm here today. The experience abroad has helped me a lot, it made me grow up and it gave me peace of mind that I was missing before."
