But, the Dutchman who is 22 years old has signed on a deal with Newcastle who presented a better offer to Lille. Despite the player waiting for the Rossoneri, they could not just match what the English put on the table.
Since then, there is talk about alternative solutions and even transfer bargains which would make the club save money intended to sign Botman and put it to use elsewhere.
