AC Milan have been targeting Renato Sanches for quite some months now. But, in the last few days, there have been growing reports about the entry of Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign the Portuguese midfielder and snatch him right from under the Rossoneri's radar.

Earlier, though, Lille President Olivier Letang has spoken to the media in a press conference for the presentation of their new coach. He denied reports about PSG making contacts and sending an offer to sign the former Bayern Munich talent:
"He is one of the players who have a year of contract left, but you know he would have left last summer for Barcelona. To date we have not had any contact with PSG and we have not received any offers. There are other interested clubs, very big European clubs who have already made offers."
