AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara who is the director of sport have renewed their contracts. Since then, they have been working to secure important quality signings to reinforce the team of coach Stefano Pioli.
Hakim Ziyech, in this sense, is a concrete target for the club directors because he can play as a right-winger and also as a playmaker.
According to what is reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, AC Milan and Chelsea will be in direct contacts again for the Moroccan winger who is 29 years old. Negotiations have started two weeks ago and the talks are still open because both parties need to come to an agreement regarding the formula of the transfer.
As for coach Thomas Tuchel of Chelsea, he would be open to let go of Hakim Ziyech. The former Ajax talent himself would be happy to join AC Milan. Work is on progress to secure the move.
