AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara who are in charge of the transfer market window are keen on signing defensive midfielder Renato Sanches in order to replace Franck Kessié who is now a new FC Barcelona player as he left as a free agent.
For the Portuguese star of Lille, however, it will not be easy, given the reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain and the difficulty of negotiations with the player's representative, super agent Jorge Mendes.
In fact, and according to Portuguese outlet Diario Record, Renato Sanches is very close to joining his ex coach Christophe Galtier and former director of Lille Luis Campos at Paris Saint-Germain.
Always as per the source, the deal is expected to be closed in the next few days. But, AC Milan remain in the race to try and snatch the player's 'ok'.
