Former AC Milan full-back Serginho spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport as he advised the Rossoneri management to invest in a playmaker and sign Chelsea's winger Hakim Ziyech. Here are his words:
"I have a perfect name for Milan, one that could solve the number 10 problem: me, but 20 years younger (laughs)... But, Milan needs to strengthen themselves there. I would focus on a playmaker, I'd say Ziyech He prefers to play wider, but he is versatile and has strokes of genius. He would break through closed defenses. It is no coincidence that Milan have suffered more often at the Meazza, against opponents who did not allow them space."
Serginho on Rafael Leao:
"Rafa will still be the key man next season. He was crucial for the Scudetto and from his future, we will understand the plans of the new ownership. Such talent must be kept. Only in this way can the winning mentality of a club grow. If he does not renew and leave, then it would mean that business comes first."
