AC Milan's Yacine Adli, who was signed last summer on a permanent transfer from Bordeaux and sent immediately back to them on loan, has released an interview to Milan TV and said the following words:

"It's a great pride to be today at one of the biggest clubs in the world, the best in Italy."

On last season with Bordeaux:

"Of course that last season with Bordeaux was complicated. I'd even say that the last three years with Bordeaux were complicated as I arrived in a difficult time for the club. It helped me to grow as a man, to deal with complicated situations. I think it will help me to overcome difficult moments in the future."

On joining AC Milan:

"When a club like AC Milan calls you, no matter which players are there, you want to join the club. It's a bonus for me to have many French-speaking teammates. AC Milan are bigger than everything and all I wanted was to join this mythical club."

On already playing with Fodé Ballo-Touré and Mike Maignan:

"I was in the PSG academy with Fodé (Ballo-Touré) and Mike (Maignan). Mike is a bit older so I saw him play a lot, especially when I was younger. I played a bit with Fodé, so we know each other a little. But here, we will get to know each other well. It's great to play with other Parisians here."

Yacine Adli on Ismael Bennacer:

"I know Isma (Bennacer) very well because we share the same agent, so we know each other. I think that he is a very good player. Maybe one of the best midfielders today. What he does is already great and I'm sure he can do even more and he will show everyone that he can make a name for himself in football."

He continued:

"I prefer being out playing on the pitch. I will try to adapt to wherever the coach wants me to play. But, I don't any preferences. I've already played in different positions and that is one of my qualities so I will try to carry on with it."

On playing the Champions League:

"The Champions League is a dream since childhood. When you start your career, that's the dream of every player. Today, telling me that perhaps I can play in that competition is amazing. But I need to prepare myself and be ready."

Yacine Adli on his passions:

"I have been passionate about music. My dad enrolled me, my sister and my brother in a music academy. In fact, I played the violin for four years. My sister played the piano and I watched her a lot so I always had a passion for the piano and music."

On growing up:

"It's true that 'Villejuif' is a very important place for me, it is the city in which I grew up. I try to give back the maximum I can to the young players from my town in order for them to get the same opportunities that I had. With the association, we try to share our values. Right now, we are going through a hard time as one of our association players who was named Zinédine passed away recently. I'd like to express my condolences and may he rest in peace."

On Zinédine Zidane:

"Zidane is one of the players whom I appreciated enormously and I watched him play a lot."

Yacine Adli on the difference between Bordeaux and Milan:

"Based on my personal experience, I spent 3 years at Bordeaux with 100 Ligue 1 games, as a result, I got some experience. Now, I arrive at a completely different club with a fantastic group of players. I need to get used to that and to be ready to help the coach and team and to try and gain a spot in the first team."

On AC Milan last season:

"I watched all of AC Milan's games last season. There are players who stood out like (Rafael) Leao, (Theo) Hernandez and many others. But I think that it's especially the team work is what made the difference last season. We saw a lot of really high-performing players like Pierre (Kalulu) with whom I shared the France youth setup, he had a great season. I don't have a player whom I want to meet at all costs but, I am just looking forward to working with everyone."
