Il Corriere dello Sport in today's print edition point out that Club Brugge are now "playing higher" in negotiations to sell Charles De Ketelaere to AC Milan. The player who missed the game against Copenhagen played 45 minutes yesterday against Utrecht and made an assist.
We are in a phase of the negotiation where the parties are exchanging ideas and counter-offers. Milan have the player's yes in their hands but do not have the agreement with Club Brugge, however.
The Belgian club have an offer from Leeds United at around 30 million euros plus 7 million euros in bonuses. They are now struggling to "accept less money just because De Ketelaere wants to go to AC Milan and doesn't want to play in the Premier League".
