AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has spoken yesterday at the House of BMW to celebrate the championships of Olimpia Milano (basketball) and AC Milan. Here are his words, as relayed by MilanPress.it:
"Winning in this city is something special, the fans were fantastic. At Milanello, photos of great victories and great players of the past hang along the walls of the club house. For us, it was a stimulus to see them every day to aim to win. We strongly wanted to reach those walls. It was a great motivation."
Pioli on the secret to win:
"The secret is to try to be better from day one, have the courage to grow daily and only then set goals. You need to visualize the route and the journey... I focus on my priorities. The multicultural changing rooms are beautiful: you have to accept the differences between everyone, they form a group with their differences, they get to know each other and we become stronger."
