Leeds United continue to be keen on Club Brugge's starlet Charles De Ketelaere who is also on the AC Milan radar. The Premier League club sees the Belgian 21-year-old as an ideal centre-forward in their style of football and really want to bring him in.
As per The Athletic, "Leeds would bring De Ketelaere tomorrow if they could", for them he is the one. They are also happy to meet the asking price of Club Brugge which is around 35 million euros ($35.6m). They have also let the player know that they will be able to guarantee him his salary demands. But, the preference of the versatile attacking midfielder was and still is a move to AC Milan.
As per the reliable website mentioned above, despite him taking time over the past few weeks to ponder Leeds’ proposal, his stance has not changed: the Rossoneri are his first choice. Leeds have been told directly that if Milan meet Bruges’ economic demands, De Ketelaere would join them. Leeds United are reluctant to pull the plug completely, however, because of how much appreciate the player's profile and qualities, but they have little choice but to sift through other names.
Arnaud Kalimuendo, 20-year-old talent of PSG, has been discussed at length by the Leeds officials and he is also highly appreciated with a cheaper asking price. Like De Ketelaere, he also has interest from different European clubs, adds The Athletic.
