It seemed that today would have been crucial in unlocking the deal between AC Milan and Club Brugge for Charles De Ketelaere. The Rossoneri managers are firm in their stance: an offer around 32 to 33 million euros is on the table with bonuses included. The Belgian champions, however, start from a base of 35 million euros.
This was reported by Italian website Milannews.it which writes that the weekend will be an important time to see if a deal can really be done or not.
Club Brugge have a game on Sunday against Gent and De Ketelaere could be announced tomorrow in their squad list.
For the Rossoneri, in event of failure to reach an agreement for the transfer, they will immediately start looking into signing Chelsea's Hakim Ziyech. But it seems that the priority now for AC Milan, and until at least Monday, is still Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge.
