AC Milan are looking to reinforce the defensive area with a quality but affordable signing. The main target for now, though, is the attacking midfield. But, if there is an opportunity to strengthen the backline of the Rossoneri squad, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara would try to do it.

Paolo Maldini made it clear that the priority now is to try to close the De Ketelaere operation with Brugge. Only later, he and Massara will be able to move on other fronts. Japhet Tanganga has given his 'ok' for a possible move to the Italian champions. But, it must be mentioned that La Liga side Valencia and two Premier League clubs are also interested.
