Former AC Milan tactician, Arrigo Sacchi, commented about the red and black faithful's loss against ZTE in yesterday's friendly 3-2. He entrusted his words and analysis to those at La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"The others attacked and pressed, the Rossoneri retreated. There was no game in the first half hour. But I repeat what I said at the beginning: definitive judgments cannot be made after a friendly match in July. If anything, I noticed that Milan didn't press. On the other hand, only Atalanta, Verona and Turin do well in Italy. In modern football, if you don't attack, you're fried in a pan."
Arrigo Sacchi on other flaws in the team:
"Let's say right away that there were many reservations in the initial line-up. I noticed that the team is getting too long. Today players need to form a block in constant motion: ready to attack and defend together. At most, the length of the team must be 30 meters, otherwise the connections between the departments will be lost."
He added:
"If fans need to worry? I would say no, it is very early. Slowly the players will get in shape and will also find the right game system. In general, I like our teams to compete with foreign rivals, so they see what kind of football is being played abroad. Speed, pressing and constant movement."
