32-year-old Josè Luis Palomino who plays for Serie A side Atalanta as a centre-back has failed a surprise check.
The prohibited substance is nandrolone. This is revealed by Ansa.it, who add that The National Anti-Doping Court suspended Palomino at the request of the Nado Italia Prosecutor's Office.
"A positive in Serie A even before the championship begins, the Argentine of Atalanta Josè Luis Palomino has in fact failed a surprise check of Nado Italia: the prohibited substance is nandrolone. The National Anti-Doping Tribunal has suspended Palomino at the request of the Prosecutor of Nado Italia."
