AC Milan's interest in Chelsea's Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech is still alive despite the priority and main target being Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge.
In recent days, there have been growing reports saying that the Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have reactivated contacts with the Blues and the 29-year-old's entourage to let them know that the interest and trail for them is still alive.
Now, the latest news comes from English journalist Simon Phillips who wrote that Hakim Ziyech did not get on the Chelsea team bus when their plane landed back in the United Kingdom earlier this week. AC Milan, for their part, have picked up the pace in the talks for the former Ajax player. Contacts have taken place this week with the "two clubs growing more optimistic"
