Club Brugge's coach, Carl Hoefkens, has spoken to the media at a press conference two days before the match against Eupen. He was asked about Charles De Ketelaere whose arrival to AC Milan is now a matter of time. Here are his words:
"As a coach, I want everyone on the pitch to be able to give their all and give 100% at all times. If anyone says they can't give everything physically, tactically or mentally it's my job. face him. Then I have to talk to the player and see how the situation is with him. In this case it was no longer possible for Charles to give everything."
Carl Hoefkens added:
"He indicated that he was getting too heavy mentally and that he was afraid of getting injured during training . And so there is only one conclusion: stop training with the group. Am I disappointed with De Ketelaere? No, I've known Charles for a long time. and I have been closely involved in its growth."
"Sometimes, it happens that there are other thoughts, it might be the case now. But I try to stay away from them as much as possible and focus on the players who are 100% present. What advice would I give him if he really left? do what he has been doing here for a long time", said Club Brugge's coach Carl Hoefkens.
