Today is Charles De Ketelaere's day who is going through medical examinations and fitness tests. The attacking midfielder who is 21 years old has been followed closely by AC Milan for a long period of time and negotiations were exhausting but finally fruitful.
According to Milannews.it, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara intend to make two more signings this summer at least , then leave the door open for any unmissable opportunities that occur at the end of August (maybe Ziyech?).
In this sense, four names are being followed: Renato Sanches from Lille whose contract expires at the end of the ccurrent season. He is wanted by Milan, but he is reportedly waiting for PSG to make a move for him. Yesterday, new contacts with his agent Jorge Mendes have taken place. The situation is still on stand-by, for now. Renato Sanches would like the chance to play for PSG in order to be the teammate of Leo Messi, Mbappé, Neymar and also find his ex coach Christophe Galtier and ex Lille director, also his compatriot, Luis Campos. An agreement between Milan and Lille is found on transfer fee at 10 million euros. But now, Renato Sanches must choose.

In midfield, option B is Carney Chukwuemeka. He is very much liked by Milan. But, the 18-year-old Englishman has a high pricetag set by Aston Villa, despite having a contract which expires at the end of the current season: 15-20 million euros would be needed.

In defence, Tottenham's Japhet Tanganga and Abdou Diallo are liked. Until the last few days, writes Milannews.it, the English defender has been in the lead. But, it seems that Abdou Diallo is now the favourite. The Senegalese is liked because he can play as centre-back just as well as left-back. PSG could participate in the payment of his salary if he goes on loan to AC Milan.

The trail leading to Tanganga is still open. But, there have been no significan steps forward after the last meeting between Tottenham director Fabio Paratici and the AC Milan management.
