Speaking to Milan TV, Tommaso Pobega revealed what he is feeling like after a contract extension with the red and black faithful:
"The emotions are many. There is a desire to do well, to train and play because many years have passed since I arrived here. Now I want to get some satisfactions here."
On his previous experience at Torino:
"I did all the preparation last year, I also played on the bench, but maybe I still needed a step outside to grow. I was lucky enough to go to Torino and find a good environment and good players and a coach who gave me confidence."
Pobega on Sandro Tonali and the rest of the group:
"We (with Tonali) have a good relationship, we've known each other since last year. So it's really a pleasure to play with him. The group made a positive impression on me, there is a desire to work and do things the way you want. I saw them very grown up, even in a speech of awareness, each one added something. A person I was curious to know is Maignan who had made a good impression on me both on a technical point of view and also regarding the charisma."
On coach Stefano Pioli:
"Last year, before I left, I talked about it with him and he confided to me that it could be the right choice because it could be the right environment in which to grow but he wanted to tell me to work to return. I'm sure that if I listen to him and follow his indications well, I will still grow a lot because he has proven to be an excellent coach and I will only have to learn."
Pobega on the objectives:
"My goal every year is to grow because we can improve every year. Then, it is normal that we want to take away some satisfactions and grow as a group."
